Day 439

And now a note from mommy:
Violet is doing so much these days. She is walking all over the place, and able to climb stairs. She still calls everything a puppy, including cats, buffaloes, and cows. She loves to give high fives and kisses - she leans forward with her lips puckered and says "mmmmm". She will play with anything (see the comb in the background of the picture? one of her favorites) and likes looking at books. She still points in the air when she hears an airplane, and signals a touchdown with one arm raised instead of two. She is getting to be more of a toddler and occasionally has short-lived tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants. She doesn't understand the word "no" (ok, she does, but she chooses to ignore it, kind of like her mother). She loves to change the channel on the TV and enjoys the Wonder Pets. She babbles to herself and to us all day long. She has 6 teeth - 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom. She's still missing one of her front top teeth. Every day she does something new, and it never ceases to amaze us.
